Parents' Night Out:
The Calvary Baptist Youth Group is holding this event on Saturday, February 18th from 5 -8 p.m. to enable parents or grandparents to celebrate Valentine's Day and have a safe and fun place to drop off their children for the evening. The Youth Group will take good care of your children, entertaining them with games and a movie, and providing fun snacks. An added bonus for this event is that it serves as a fundraiser for the Youth Group! (Ages 3 to 11 years. Cost: $15 per child for the 3-hour evening. Discounted cost for families with 3 or more children.)
Children's Bible Hour classes (toddlers, ages 2-3; preschool, ages 4-5) meet Sunday mornings during the 10:00 worship service. Join us as we learn about and enjoy God through Bible study!
The teaching revolves around the Bible story, and includes in-class activities, memorization, singing, and take-home pages for review through the week.
We are delighted to offer to our families the Show Me Jesus curriculum, published by Great Commission Publications. The curriculum is a complete plan for nurturing children in the Word of God. Its individual courses from toddler through high school fit together to teach the Bible as a whole and the unfolding story of redemption in Christ.
Please pray for the Youth Group as they travel to Ponderosa Pines in Big Bear for their annual winter camp next weekend. Pray for safety for the fifteen students traveling in two vans, and also for good health and a wonderful time of fellowship and spiritual renewal.
