Welcome to CBC YOUTHOur goal: “To Know Him and Make Him Known ” We are a group of junior and senior high school students desiring to know Christ better and make Him known to our generation. We want to be true God worshippers who live out what we know to be true. The Objective of our student ministry is to EXPOSE students to God's love, to EQUIP them through His Word, so they can EXALT God, ENJOY other believers and EXPERIENCE the work of the ministry.
 
This Week's Update (September 1-7)

  • We're hoping to be starting a 13 week Foundations of the Faith study on Wednesday nights from 6-7pm (before YG) for those of you who are interested. Some of the topics we will cover are:

    - How to know the Bible
    - God, and His character and attributes
    - The person and work of Jesus Christ
    - Salvation
    - The Holy Spirit
    - Prayer
    - Fellowship and Worship
    - The Church
    - Spiritual gifts
    - Evangelism
    - Obedience
    - God's will and guidance

  • Just wanting to remind you all that we will be heading back up to Hume Lake this fall for the Men's Conference. The dates are October 23-26, and the cost is $250. Please let me know if you are interested in joining us. You can find out more info at humelake.org. I really believe it will be an incredible (possibly life-changing) time for us all.

  • School is back in session. Crazy how fast summer flew by. Anyway, I wanted to get the word out that Youth Group is now meeting back at the church at 7pm on Wednesday nights. 

Verse for the day: Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
 
"Homes Of Hope" - Our Vision!
Our Vison is to build 4 homes a year for families who are in need.  The houses will be built in conjunction with Youth With A Mission – San Diego , Baja’s Homes of Hope project. Youth With A Mission selects families to receive homes based upon extreme need. Most of the families have at least three children and an income of around $80 a week. The homes built are sturdy shelters with three windows, a front door, and a solid foundation. They replace small make-shift shelters made with pallets, odd pieces of wood, plastic tarps and dirt floors. READ MORE
